Uganda is soon becoming like South Africa. South Africa was built by the Dutch on crude colonial injustice and criminal disregard for the indigenous African majority. Uganda’s politicians deprive people of their land and they suffer humiliation, servitude, poverty, ignorance and disease. In South Africa, colonial dispossession of land was genocide and continues to be genocide inflicted on Africans in Uganda.

It now looks Uganda is in a free-fall. If you carried out a poll, the levels of frustrations are frightening. The people of Uganda, like those in South Africa have lost hope, people are getting angrier, their government is making more mistakes, and corruption is stinking to high heaven, so in brief analysts say Uganda is rotting.

So Uganda’s main opposition leader, Col. Kizza Besigye says they want to concentrate on how the people of Uganda can be liberated. Besigye’s statement follows news that the government of Uganda is grabbing peoples land at Kasokoso, in Wakiso district.

The police on Tuesday used live ammunition and TEARGAS on residents of Kasokoso who were battling armed forces demanding the release of their fellow residents who were arrested last night by armed men in plain-clothes. The residents were arrested because they had resisted the government takeover of their land.
