Korea and Russian oil companies fight for Uganda oil

 

Korea, England and Russia are among the developed countries that scramble for Uganda’s recently discovered out. Other countries …whose oil companies interested in Uganda’s oil. Other countries in the same race include South Korea, Kuwait, Albania, Denmark, Nigeria, South Africa, Japan and British Virgin Islands.

The leading world oil companies that are interested in Uganda’s oil are DAO Group of Kuwait, Haldor Topsoe of Denmark, Chevron of Nigeria, Vitol of UK, GS Engineering & Construction of Korea, Mamorithi Pty Ltd of South Africa, Marubeni Itochu Steel & JFE Steel Europe Ltd OF Japan, SAFINAT Group of Companies of Russia, Clyde Union Pumps of UK, Volo Investments Holdings Ltd of British Virgin Islands and Link Energy (Nigeria).

Others are Petrofac of UK, OMK Steel of Russia, Jack’s Holdings of Albania, Samasung Group of South Korea and Hyundai again of South   Korea.

Out of the world oil companies interested in Uganda’s oil, Uganda is much interested in Rostec, which is a multi-billion dollar state corporation with over 600 subsidiaries around the world.

The Uganda Refinery Project will have the capacity to process 60,000 barrels per day and will be located in Hoima.
