In women who have symptoms of fibroids, the most common symptoms of uterine fibroids include heavy menstrual bleeding, prolonged menstrual periods, menstrual bleeding, pelvic pressure or pain, frequent urination and difficulty emptying their bladder.
Other symptoms include constipation, backache or leg pains, anemia (as a result of heavy periods), backache, constipation, discomfort in the lower abdomen (especially if fibroids are large), frequent urination, heavy painful periods, pain in the legs, painful sex, swelling in the lower abdomen (especially if fibroids are large).
Also the symptoms may include labour problems, pregnancy problems, fertility problems and lastly repeated miscarriages.
