Brazil closes its Kampala embassy over corruption in Uganda

 

The embassy of Brazil has canceled its honorary consulate in Kampala over too much reports of corruption in the Republic of Uganda.

The sources in the government of Brazil told us that no individual or organisation based in Uganda is authorised to process or to respond to any inquiries regarding visas to Brazil or any other consulate matter.

The sources further told us that any attempt to charge consular fees in Uganda for Brazilian visas is a fraud. A senior official in Brazilian government told us that they have relocated their embassy to Nairobi where there is less corruption reported.
