The regional heads of state will be meeting in Uganda on 30th November to discussion single currency, customs, political federation reports on issues to do with EAC integration.

Addressing the media in Kampala today, the permanent secretary ministry of EAC affairs Edith Nsajja Mwanje confirms that they will also discuss the application of Somalia to join the integration as well as discuss the S.Sudan application as another member who joined the region.

However though these member state are slated to meet in Kampala, there is high anticipation that Tanzania is likely not to attend just like it has been in some past meeting though the permanent secretary rules this out.

The heads of state will also engage with media owners to interest them about the integration issues.
