The Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) 29 Councilors who impeached Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago have started mobilising people in rallies and convince voters on their justification to harmstrung the Lord Mayor.
The embattled councilors claim that in administrative law it provides for the principle of natural justice where these councillors need to be heard.
Using money they have got from the president, the councilors will move from parish to parish in Kampala to justify to the public Lukwago’s incompetence, abuse of office, misconduct and failure to sign council minutes.
The councilors who impeached Lukwago in his absence are:

1- Allan Ssewanyana (independent) (He was locked out of the voting room because he publiclly opposed the government move to impeach Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago)
2-Mpindi Bumali (NRM)( he was absent with apology).
