The Lord Mayor won again at the court. Justice Yasin Nyanzi says the status quo in Kampala remains until the judicial review case is disposed off and that it cannot address itself as to weather there was service of the order or not because for it it issued an order to halt impeachment process of Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago.

High Court Judge Yasin Nyanzi on Thursday ordered Kampala Minister Frank Tumwebaze to stop the implementation of the tribunal report that paved way for the censure of Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago until his main application challenging the Justice Catherine Bamugemereire recommendations is determined.

The court also ordered president Museveni’s government to pay Lukwago costs of the suit. Immediately Lukwago said that he demands 80 million shillings as damages and costs of the suit.
