Ntungamo Municipality MP Jona Musinguzi has pledged to give 100 million shillings towards a refresher course for police officers on observance of Human Rights.
The lawmaker, who is a sits on the Parliamentary Committee on Human Right, says that from the recent human rights abuses by police officers are worrying and can cause genocide in the country if they are not stop.
Musinguzi called on the Inspectorate General of Police to organize refresher courses for the cops to equip them with knowledge on Human Rights since the 8 months period of training may not be sufficient.
The MP promised to contribute towards the refresher courses.
