The speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga has demanded that East African Legislative Assembly member Mukasa Mbidde produces written communication from embattled Bubulo west MP Tony Kipoi appointing him his lawyer.

Mukasa had on Thursday presented himself to parliament as the lawyer whom Kipoi had chosen to represent him on the committee that is investigating his whereabouts.

Kadaga wants Kipoi out of parliament over his continued absence from parliament for over fifteen consecutive sittings without the explicit permission of the Speaker of Uganda parliament.

Mukasa Mbidde, was thrown out of parliament, because the house wanted to avoid a repeat of the melodrama that recently saw Sejusa disown Mukasa Mbidde as his lawyer midway through its investigations.
