Sejusa speaks on Lukwago’s eviction and court victory

Former coordinator of intelligence organisations in Uganda, Gen. David Sejusa has not minced his words when he talked about Erias Lukwago’s eviction from Kampala Lord Mayorship.

He says Lukwago was denied the right to freely interact with his voters who elected him overwhelmingly. Sejusa says Lukwago was always held prisoner in his home.

“The regime used NRM councilors to sabotage the meetings he (Lukwago) called and the regime denied him even the chance to perform the ceremonial duty of meeting visitors, officiating at city carnival, and he could not be allowed to attend the meeting of Chinese Mayors and governors who had come to Munyonyo to meet with East African (EAC) Mayors,” Sejusa told our reporter in a communication.

.

The general says that anyone saying that Lukwago is responsible for his plight, is NOT only retarded but an apologist of dictatorship.

Gen. Sejusa however calls on the Uganda army, the UPDF and the people of Uganda to rise up and topple President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni (whom he calls a dictator).

He says the removal of Africa’s longest serving dictators has been widely covered in both local and international media.

Looking at the manner in which UPDF officers and men are disgusted with Museveni’s regime, Gen. Sejusa says that one punctuated by patronage and characterised by family rule, it only needs a few brave UPDF officers to organise at lightening speed and make a concerted assault on the seat of Museveni and with this going on, all the other units including the majority of so called special forces would join and Museveni would be a thing of the past.
