The police in Uganda have arrested a 66-year-old man with German origin for reportedly defiling 19 girls in one room one after another. This German man was arrested on Monday in Kalangala District, central Uganda, where he was reportedly sexually abusing the girls.

The suspect recruited the under age girls into sex through his non-governmental organisation, Ssese Islands Health Physical Social Care Centre. On arrest, the German man told police that the girls he was sexually abusing were disadvantaged and they needed his financial support.

Police spokesperson Judith Nabakooba confirmed the development and said the girls were aged 13 years on average. On arrest, the police discovered boxes of both used and unused condoms, family pills among others.
