The Uganda National Bureau of statistics has started sensitizing different stakeholders on the coming National Census due next year to ensure that the whole process ends successfully.
This after they duly confirmed to carry on this obligation after a period of Twelve years without conducting a National census. Today, UBOS officials engaged Religious and cultural leaders in a sensitization workshop feeding them with information pertaining this census, what will be included in the questioner so as they can pass on this information to their followers as they gather for prayers.
The National Census Coordinator Francis Mashate says they saw it prudent to bring on board such stakeholders who always engage with big congregation.
The census is slated for 28th August next year and is to last for ten days and this is aimed at guiding the central government in resource allocation.
