The katikiro of Buganda, Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga is urging all the people of Buganda and Uganda to develop a culture of saving their money in banks as they prepare to invest it.

Speaking at the opening of Tropical bank branch in Katwe at Muganzilwaza building, the katikiro also asked the bank to offer professional services to its clients saying it’s the only way life will be made easy for the clients.

And the director supervision at the central bank, Christine Bagyenda cautions banks to offer customers credible products to to attract them do more business with them.

Also the chairman board of directors Tropical bank Uganda, Hon. Gerald Sendawula told the gathering that the bank has led other financial institutions in supporting local farmers and pledges more support in a bid to lift their living standards.
