parliament rejects claims by over Late Mandela motion.

Parliament has rejected claims that government had a monopoly of moving a motion to pay tribute to the former south African president late Nelson Mandela.
This came after the cabinet disowned the resolution passed by parliament for MPS to pay tribute to Mandela because of its absence yesterday claiming that parliament should have waited until government moves this motion.
The speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga said that the motion is owned by parliament not government.
The motion was moved by the Leader of the opposition Nathan Nadala Mafabi instead of the prime minister who was in the cabinet retreat and seconded by Bunyole member of parliament Emmanuel Dombo .
The leader of opposition said that Uganda should is not owned by cabinet .
The minister of information and National Guidence Rose Namayanja said that the speaker
should have waited for the cabinet because they are the ones that were
supposed to move a Motion.
