The husband of president Museveni’s adviser, Getrude Njuba, Mr. Sam Njuba died at NsambyaHospital leaving behiind a wife, children and grand children.

Njuba has been a man who puts on many hearts. Some people have been knowing him as a veteran politician, an academic, and a prominent lawyer in town.

Others have been knowing Njuba as a true friend, father, mornachist, former MP for Kyadondo East, former lecturer at Makerere University and former chairman of Uganda Law Society, and former  minister for Constitutional Affairs in the ruling National Resistance Movement government of president Yoweri Museveni.

Njuba left NRM after he got rumours that someone in State House, where his wife Getrude Njuba was in love with her. Sam Kalega Njuba at the time of his death has been the national chairman of the opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).

The veteran politician died on Friday at NsambyaHospital in Kampala after developing abdominal complications in July.
