King Faisal Abdul Aziz was as great as Nelson Mandela

 

It is said that King Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz was as great as former South African president, Madiba Nelson Mandela.
The Muslims say that if the world is talking about great people at the same level as Nelson Mandela, the world leaders should consider adding King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia (1906 – 1975).
King Aziz ruled Saudi Arabia between 1964 to 1975. He is credited with laying the foundations for the modernization of Saudi Arabia, ended slavery in Saudi   Arabia, and established the Islamic University of Madina.
 King Faisal was a major driving force in establishing the Muslim World League, played a crucial leadership role in the creation of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (Organization of Islamic Cooperation ), credited by scholars for being among the first statesmen to understand the value of ‘shuttle diplomacy,’ and modernized the Saudi education system.
King Faisal Aziz laid the foundation for Saudi international development aid which continues today despite the challenge of reported cases of mismanagement in some recipient communities ….
