Kampala City Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, after expressing his willingness to talk to president Museveni’s government over his controversial impeachment, Kampala Minister Frank Tumwebaze has said that he too is willing to talk to Lukwago.
The minister says Uganda government will honour an invitation from Lukwago. Tumwebaze says government talks with Lukwago will be a step in the right direction towards creating order at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).
But the minister says the government doesn’t want Lukwago to bring bad mood in the meeting. He says the government expects Lukwago to prctice diplomacy regrdless of his political differences and opinion.
The minister says the government doesn’t want Lukwago to use the talks to make a show of who wields more power.
