PhD Scholarships at University of Copenhagen may be acquired in different ways:

  • You can apply for a scholarship at The Faculty of Humanities. PhD scholarships are announced twice a year. Application deadline is in August and February.
  • You can apply for a scholarship from the Danish Agency for Technology, Science and Innovation. Scholarships are announced once a year in spring with application deadline in September. Applications are submitted by the national/regional research schools.
  • You can apply for a co-financed scholarship from the Danish Agency for Technology, Science and Innovation and from the Graduate School of the Faculty of Humanities if you have co-financing from a private company or public organisation.
  • You can apply for an Industrial PhD Scholarship. In this case, a private company or a public organisation and Danish Agency for Technology, Science and Innovation will fund your scholarship.
