The Ghana Chamber of Commerce has invited 100 entrepreneurs from Uganda to a business meeting on February 20th, 2014. Denis Karera, the Honorary Counsel of Ghana says the meeting seeks to widen trade cooperation between Ghana and the East African countries.
Denis Karera the three-day business gathering organised by the Ghana Consulate in East Africa and the Private Sector Federation (PSF), is part of efforts to boost East Africa’s exports by widening the market and strengthening the existing ties between Ghana and the East African countries. Others invited are business people in Rwanda, Kenya, Burundi and Tanzania.
The business trip will enable businesspeople in East Africa to share their experiences, market information and new business technologies as well as capacity building in various areas of business. The meeting will also serve as a platform for networking and provide the business people with an opportunity to increase production.
