Government to improve health services

 

Uganda government has pledged to repair and improve health services in two years time, according to Mulago hospital spokesperson Enock Kusasira.

 

He says the repairs are part of Government reforms to improve health services in Uganda in which all major hospitals in the country will be renovated.

The renovations are to be funded by $73m that Museveni’s government borrowed from the African Development Bank and the Nigerian Trust Fund. The project is also partly funded by the World Bank.

Mulago main NationalReferralHospital is the biggest and oldest medical facility in Uganda, having established in 1913 by Sir Albert Cook, who was a British colonialist.
