The prime minister and secretary general of NRM, Amama Mbabazi is to discuss with police the reason behind the arrest made against his boys and other immediate associates.

There are reports about the continued arrest and harassment of his close supporters by police ever since the Kyankwanzi retreat, but Mbabazi who seemed not sure about the matter said , he is to discuss the matter with police.

He also distance reports that it was resolved by the NRM caucus to have him appear before the disciplinary committee of the party.
He also reveals that the caucus is meeting today and tomorrow to discuss replace parliamentary commissioners among other issues that are private.
Amama Mbabazi also revealed to the press that government is in advanced plans to cause amendments into the laws to guide government budgeting process to cause efficiency and timely funding to government entities.

Currently, government entities receive funds two months after the reading of the budget by the finance minister leaving the entities with loopholes in financing some of their activities during the process of parliament discussing the budget for final approval.

The prime minister now wishes that the proposed amendments that will see the budget reading done when all entities have their funds on their respective accounts ready to spend.
