Muslims have started a system in their schools where once a child is admitted she /he will not repeat classes until PLE, S4 or S6 exams are over. But in case the Muslim school fears to spoil its first grades, then it will advise the parents of weak children as early as possible to change schools.
Should the Muslim school choose to keep quite, then it will have to allow the child to go through the system and the child will be allowed to write final exams from another school centre.
Time has come for Muslim schools to have alternative/buffer schools. For example each Muslim school will have Branch A, B, C e.t.c. Where by A is for first grades and then B is for those whom you consider to get 2nd grades etc.
Most important the teaching and practice will remain the same in all branches only that in B or C or D the students will find being labelled slow learners.
The Muslims have put into consideration the people in Uganda who want to be associated with cetern schools and their “culture.” For example if one studied at Kibuli S.S, he/she will always want his child to go through the same culture and system.
In order to maintain the culture, the Muslim schools through the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council will recruit mainly old students to teach in such branches.
