4 Ugandans killed in Ukraine

 

At least four Ugandans have been killed in Ukrain following the political unrest that has gripped Ukraine for the last 2 months. The names of the dead Ugandans are not yet known.

A total of 145 Ugandans are living in Ukraine, among them university graduates. The unrest follows a dispute between Russia and Ukraine over Crimea state.

Uganda’s ambassador to Russia, Moses Ebuk says the embassy has not received the names of dead Ugandans. But he has the government of Uganda is ready to evacuate Ugandans since the situation in Ukrain has gone worse.

He says currently most of Ugandans living in Ukraine are staying indoors. Uganda doesn’t have an embassy in Ukrain.
