Internal Affairs Minister Gen. Aronda Nyakayirima has asked religious leaders to argue politicians to stop politicking ID Program because they may discourage the public from engaging in this activity.

Aronda says Religious leaders have a high influence in the society which they have to use to persuade politicians from engaging in non constructive comments towards the Projects.

He has also argue religious leaders to always encourage their congregates to participate in this exercise which kick off in next month.

Aronda adds that the government will verify critically all foreigners to avert issuing them with the national IDS.

This project is not a govt project but a national projects geared at benefiting Ugandans
