ISO has run out operation funds

The internal security organization [ISO] has reported that it has run out of funds for security operations
According to the secretary office of the president Debra Katuramu, ISO recently wrote to finance ministry asking for a supplementary budget but the ministry did not respond to the matter.
This was revealed by the permanent secretary in the ministry for presidency Debra Katuramu while appearing before the parliamentary committee on the presidential Affairs.
Katuramu told the committee that the required funding for ISO which includes classified work and gratuity totals to 32billion shillings.
This revelation left the committee in shock wondering whether the country is safe since the spying body is now financial crisis.
The committee directed the minister for security to come and explain details regarding the supplementary budget for ISO before things can get out of hand.
Meanwhile, the committee heard that state house; out of the shs202bn which has been released to it in the past six months, it has spent shs112bn. Of this, 37.3bn have been given out by Museveni as donations, shs27.5bn for his security and that of vice president, shs17bn for mobilization of the people among others.
