The Erasmus Mundus Food of Life is part of the Erasmus Mundus programme initiated by the European Commission to enhance and promote European higher education throughout the world.
The two-year Masters Course builts on the expertise of four European universities:
- University of Copenhagen, UC
- Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, SLU
- Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, UAB
- University of Helsinki, UH
The EM Food of Life Masters Course leads to a Double Degree, i.e. two nationally recognised MSc degrees of 120 ECTS.
Depending on your host institutions, the following degrees are awarded:
- 1. Master of Science in Food Science and Technology – University of Copenhagen
- 2. Master of Science (two year) with a major in Animal Science – Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences
- 3. Master of Science in Food Sciences – University of Helsinki
- 4. Master of Science in Research in Animal and Food Sciences – Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona
Scholarship Amount:
- Contribution to travel, installation and any other type of costs – € 8000 per MSc
- Maximum contribution to the participation costs (including insurance coverage) – € 16000 per MSc
- Monthly allowance – € 1000 per month
- Total € 48000
