The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) is calling for entries for the Dick Martin Scholarship Award.
This annual, national award is available to students enrolled in an occupational health and safety course or programme in an accredited college or university in Canada, leading to an occupational health and safety certificate, diploma or degree.
Three, $3000 scholarships will be awarded.
To apply for the award, post secondary students are invited to submit a 1000-1200 word essay on a topic related to their area of study in occupational health and safety.
Essays will be judged on the intellectual content, the practical and theoretical value and the presentation and style.
Entry deadline for the Dick Martin Scholarship Award is January 31 each year.
