Do you have a legal problem in courts of Uganda and need a legal assistance. You can now present your problem to the offices of the duty counsel and the legal experts you find there give you legal advice on the matter in question.

The offices of duty counsel are situated at particular magisterial courts. The duty counsel can review, interprete and draft simple court documents on your behalf.

Where it is possible, the duty counsel will offer you court representation only for that day. The duty counsel can even refer you to the legal aid and pro bono offices at the Uganda law society.

The duty counsels are supported by kingdom of Belgium, ministry of foreign trade and development cooperation in partnership with Avocats Sans frontiers and Uganda Law Society.
