The state minister for urban development RoseMary Najjemba is
threatening to drag a local newspaper to court over allegations
that the paper published a defamatory story about her family.
Addressing a press conference this afternoon Najjemba that her
lawyers have served a notice to sue to the managers of this
newpaper.

The minister alleges that on 24th this month , a local news paper
published a false story that she told NRM Supporters in Gomba that
she had dropped her ex husband Prof Herbert Muyinda for hajji
Mbabali Muyanja because he was poor.
Najjemba denies having made such a statement , saying that it is
baseless and unfounded, just intended to tarnish her name.
Najjemba now wants this news paper to apologise and compasate her for
damaging her reputation
as both a mother and political leader.
