The Mufti of Uganda sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje has told president Museveni and all Muslims in Uganda to defy European leaders and institutions that are threatening to cut off aid to Uganda over the signing of the anti-homosexuality bill into law by Museveni.

Mubajje was speaking today in Juma Prayers at the Gadaffi National Mosque in Kampala. Mubajje’s call came after the national thanks giving rally that was organized by the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda to thank Museveni for signing the anti – homosexuality bill into Law.

The Mufti urged Muslims to support Museveni and rule for life. Mubajje says the President’s decision was not a matter of politics but a question of protecting Ugandans from European immorality.
