The Members of Uganda Parliament are seeking for an annual salary increase of 11 million Uganda shillings per month.

Eleven million shillings salary increase per month means that every year an MP in Uganda will earn more 132 Million.

Assume an MP earns 16 Million Uganda shillings per month, in year -one that MP will earn 27 Million per month. Year Two 38 Million per month. Year Three 49 Million Per month. Year Four 60 Million per month and year Five 71 Million Uganda shillings per month.

The salary increase alone for each MP can pay 40 teachers earning 273,000/= It can also increase salaries of teachers. But being an MP is not an occupation. The MPs in Uganda should look for full time employment if their wish is to be granted more money.

But what MPs in Ugansa are doing for Uganda is not yet known by many sections of Ugandans. Before one contests for MP must have an A-level certificate.
