Health benefits of ginger

 

 

 

There are a number of health benefits of ginger (or entangawuuzi) in Luganda language. Ginger is can be used to calm an upset stomach and providing relief for the relief of bloating.

 

The entangawuuzi crop helps to stimulate the secretion of mucus, quieting cough and soothing an itchy throat. It treats nausea, particularly sea-sickness, morning sickness and motion sickness.

Ginger contains anti-viral, anti-toxic and anti-fungal properties and is used to treat and prevent cold. The crop acts as an antihistamine and aids in the treatment of allergies.

Entangawuuzi crop displays anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, it contains special enzymes that aid digestion and prevent cramps and also ginger protects against the development of ulcers in the lining of your stomach.

 

The ginger crop helps to lower cholesterol and prevents the formation of blood clots as it is used to treat stomach ailments such as colic and diarrhoea.
