Three people are under detention at Kabale police station for causing
financial loss to the government and abuse of office.

The three were earning salary while not working as they had gone for
further studies without
formal study leave.

The kigezi police spokes person Elly Maate identified them as
Godfrey Bambabwire 30 yrs a nursing officer attached to Bufundi health
center three Bufundi s/c who is now studying at Mbarara university,
Margret Nema 25 yrs enrolled nurse at Ikumba health center three
Ikumba s/c studying at Kabale university both disappeared since
September 2013 and
Darius Orikiriza 28 yrs enrolled nurse at Nyakashebeya health center two
Kasambya s/c who is said to have been working at Rugarama private hospital
in Kabale before was recruited by Kabale local gou’t in March 2013 and he
continued at Rugarama as was earning salary through the bank.

They were handed in on 07/04/14 by the DHO Kabale Dr Tussime
Patrick who has intensified fighting those who want to earn govt money
