On 22nd of April 2014 former President of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Dr. Kizza Besigye marked 58 years. As Besigye always says, he did not get time to celebrate his birth day. But he used such a day to reflect on how far he has moved with his liberation struggle, the challenges he has faced as he presses the next gear to move forward with the liberation of Uganda.
What hurts Besigye most is the reluctance of the youths of Uganda to carry the mantle in the liberation crusade that is aimed at the liberation of the country.
The charismatic Dr Besigye, is married to Winnie Byanyima, a former MP for MbararaMunicipality, an intelligent and ambitious woman.
Besigye was born in the western Uganda district of Rukungiri District, the second child in a family of six and the son of a former policeman.
