President Museveni on Thursday last week went to Kyambogo University to launch the Students Loan Scheme. But the students were not given a chance to speak on the occasion including the KYambogo University Guild President, perhaps because he was a member of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).

The government of Uganda has put in place 6 billion shillings which is equivalent the amount which was given to NRM MPs to popularise the Sole Candidature of president Museveni.

That 6 Billion shillings can only cater for 1,300 students if given 4 Million shillings each. We had earlier been told that the State House scholarship of 30 billion shillings was to be scrapped which made some people to think that the Loan scheme would be 30+ billion shillings. Ends
