A Kenyan film star, who acted as former Ugandan cerebrated president, Idi Amin Dada will be buried at Kogelo in South East Kenya. He was behind a film dubed the rise and fall of Idi Amin.
Joseph Olita, 70, died at his home in South East Alego on Sunday after the funeral of his mother.
Olita succumbed to high blood pressure after his mother’s burial. Uganda has sent its representatives to Kenya to help Olita’s family members in his burial.
Late Olita will be remembered as one of Kenya’s outstanding film stars for his sterling role Rise and Fall of Idi Amin. Rise and fall of Idi Amin premiered in Kenya in 1981.
Olita also featured in other movies including, Mississippi Masala in 1991where he acted as Amin and Sheena in 1984 where he performed as the First Policeman.
