Youth Northern mp Evelyn Anitte says that the Youths from northern
Uganda have not only endorsed President Yoweri Museveni as a ruling
National Resistance Movement ruling party sole candidate for 2016 but
also for forever.
During a press briefing at parliament Annite says the youths
unanimously made the decision on 21st last month while meeting with
the president who is also the chairman of the party at Entebbe State
House.

She say that youth made the decision basing on reasons that he
returned peace in Northern Uganda which suffered over two decades of
civil war.

The resolution raised condemnations from opposition and civil society
Organizations who says the ruling party is creating a strange
precedence bad for the democracy of the nation and internal democracy.
Annite also stressed that the resolution was a NRM in house activity
which does not bar any other party from fronting a candidate against
president Museveni in 2016.
