Minister bans adulterating milk

 

The state minister for animal husbandry; Bright Rwamirama has banned adulterating milk. Mr. Bright says his office will close down all milk collection centers that would be found adulterating milk.

The Minister is currently on a countrywide tour sensitizing farmers on the recommended milk practices. He also says operating milk centres in dirty environments and without licenses is illegal.

Bright says that it is the duty of the government to ensure that all the milk on the market is safe and good. He says he will use the law to enforce good standards, close facilities and prosecute all the culprits found adulterating milk.
