Reports indicate that president Museveni’s torture men crashed the testicles of Captain Bosco Lutwama before killing him with lethal injection at Makindye Barracks last month.
It is said that Museveni was directly in touch with his operatives from Special Forces command SFC, who reportedly tortured retired captain John Bosco Lutwama to death.
The late Lutwama was arrested together with a dozen of his other friends and they were accused of planning to stage a military coup by first launching an attack on Kabamba barracks.
Captain Lutwama, a Luweero war veteran and gallant fighter, was thought by the regime to be among the main plotters, and he was targeted for extensive torture in custody, that involved crashing his testicles, severe beating and water boarding.
Lutwama was in the end given a lethal injection and died, according to an inside source based at Makindye Barracks.
The mutilated body of Captain John Bosco Lutwama was taken to his ancentral home by a contigent of heavily armed soldiers and his relatives were ordered to bury him without even paying the last respects or performing any cultural procedure on him.
The village was literally besieged until the forced burial had been completed. The family has now engaged an attorney to look into what to do next. Captain Lutwama’s two brothers died during the war that brought president Museveni to power. Amnesty International has taken up the case and are investigating.
