Passengers who were traveling in the bus that was moving from Kampala to Kanungu died instantly after they got an accident.

The dead included Hillary Atwire, 24 and Adrin Tuhahirwa, 68, both residents of Kanungu. Other passengers some of their legs cut off and tens of others injured in the accident.

The accident occurred when a bus registration number UAB 727S hit a truck at Nabyewangwa trading centre on Kampala- Masaka.

The area police commander Gamal Addu Kadri, says that the exact cause of the accident is not yet established as they are still looking for another vehicle with which this bus collided.
