Kampala Archdiocese in September will inaugurated the 61th parish which will be named St Elizabeth Catholic Parish Namasuba, located along Kampala-Entebbe road in Wakiso district.
The new parish will be launched by the Archbishop of Kampala, Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga with the help by Bishop of Masaka diocese, John Baptist Kaggwa.
Others who are expected to attended the function include the Vicar general of Kampala, Charles Kasibante, pastoral coordinator of Kampala Archdiocese Fr. Dr. Mark Richard Ssajjabi, the Archdiocese Chancellor Fr Joseph Mary Ssebunnya, Parish priest of Busega parish Fr Joseph Kibugwe and several priests born from the parish and others from different parishes.
The function will start with the Holy Mass to be held at Namasuba Catholic Church premises. The function is expected to be attended by a big crowd of clergy and laity from the various Parishes and Institutions making up the Archdiocese of Kampala and beyond.
