The South Korean envoy to Uganda has presented his credentials to President Yoweri Museveni at State Lodge in Central Uganda (Buganda Kingdom).

The ceremony was held at the State Lodge in Masaka Municipality. Welcoming South Korea’s new High Commissioner, Ambassador Park Jong- Dae, Museveni urged him to encourage more entrepreneurs in South Korea to come and invest in Uganda in the food processing industry particularly in the fruits and grains sector as well as in the exploitation of minerals.

Museveni also discussed with Ambassador Park Jong-dae, South Korea’s new envoy to Uganda, matters of bilateral interest between Uganda and South Korea. The Korean envoy says that he was honoured to be in Uganda.
