Workers of Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) has today morning
witnessed a drama scene at their offices at Nile Avenue after the
board members called for Police assistance to throw out their Managing
Director Paul Kihika.
On 1st/08/14, the newly appointed UBC board chaired by former Jinja
Municipality East MP Igeme Nabeeta issued a notice suspending Kihika
from his duties on allegations of causing a financial loss which has
made the company crippled financially.
But Kihika refused to vacate the office which attempted his bosses to
call the Police for assistance, Simon Kaheru one of the board members
said that they had given Kihika enough time to handover peacefully but
he refused, efforts to get Kihika for a comment were proved futile.
