Kutasa to find solution to Isreal Palestine war

Foreign affairs minister Sam Kutesa says Uganda’s position on the ongoing war between Isreal and Palestine is what he called a ‘Two states’ solution.

He says through this, both countries will know their boundaries and therefore restrict themselves within their territories.

The minister was responding to querries raised by Mbale munipality MP Jack Wamai who expressed a concern that despite other countries having come out and stated their position on the instability in Palestine, Irag, Ukraine, Uganda hasn’t made clear its position.

He said that much as foreign affairs ministry boasts of several ministers, all of them dodge parliament and fail to bring important updates to parliament regarding international matters.

Kutesa however, says Uganda’s position on Isreal-Palestine war is that there must be two independent states as a solution and also condemned the ongoing killings of civilians in Gaza.
