The new Bishop elect of the just created West Lango Diocese in the history of the church of Uganda Canon Alfred Acur Okodi says he is ready to face the challenges that come with his new calling.

Rev. Canon Acur has served as Assistant Vicar of All Saints’ Cathedral, Kampala, as well as Kampala Diocesan Mission Coordinator.

While as his new appointment seems a cast from the city to the far remote Lango Sub region, Bishop Occur has told us that it’s sometimes better to work in the village.
