The opposition political parties have started talks geared towards having a single political front come 2016 general.
This was revealed by the Democratic Party President Norbert Mao who clarified that single political front is not aiming at the person of President Museveni but rather to resort the lost soul of Ugandans.
Mao said that focusing on Museveni would be a betrayal to Ugandans whose dignity has been undermined by the current regime.
He said unlike in 2011 general elections, this time round opposition political parties seek to have a registered formal alliance that will revive the soul of this country.
The opposition leader preaching political unity said after securing the country’s political future, then individual political players will resort to interparty political competition.
Mao stressed that public should not be engulfed with only the issue of having a single candidate but first redeeming the country’s future.
