Prof. Kiyimba a muslim cleric is strongly against the allegations made by the IGP about the ongoing muslim killings saying they are not made by the ADF as the IGP. Gen. Kare Kayihura says.
At press conference today in Kampala, Prof. Abasi Kiyimba who is the national chairman, Uganda muslim youth assembly accuses police of manufacturing investigative reports on the murders which he says are false and tasks the IGP to come up with concrete evident reports on the killings of all muslim clerics.
But in the middle of the event the prof’s press conference was prematurely ended following the interruption by the head of operations kampala metropolitan, Andrew Felix Kawesi who held a closed door meeting with the professors for a good time.
The muslims who are now demanding for the release of all murder investigative reports related to muslim killings across the country for years are being assured by police that anytime the full reports will be released as murder cases are handled carefully.
Between December 2014 and January 2015 two Muslim clerics have been shot dead with one escaping death narrowly
