Birigirimana who was appearing before the committee chaired by the Nakasongola District Woman Member of Parliament Margaret Komuhangi said the ministry will also arrest and prosecute the owners of such buildings for breaking the laws pertaining to people’s occupational health and safety which they should ideally be protecting.

The ministry notes that despite all the efforts by Government to create awareness on the need to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, some stubborn enterprises, companies, organisations have adamantly refused to comply
