The Office of the President will start the patriotism training of over 1200 senior six leavers selected from various schools across the country on 30th April 2015According to the Commissioner, Patriotism Club in the Office of the President, Col. Henry Matsiko, the one month training of the students who will be selected by their respective teachers and Resident District Commissioners will be held at Kabalye Police Training School. The training is estimated to cost over UGX.100M.
Matsiko notes that during the training, students will be grilled through a number of fields including, Uganda’s history, financial and economic discipline, security, mind set change among others geared at shaping the next generation into a responsible citizenry.
The students who will be trained are those who were members of their respective patriotism school clubs.
