NRM secretary general also picked nomination forms from the electoral commission for the 2016 presidential flag bearer taking the number of those who have picked the forms to 38.

Picking the form on behalf of the NRM 2016 presidential candidate, the party national secretary general, Justine Lumumba said as the custodian of the party’s secrets she has the mandate to pick the nomination forms for their candidate but strongly advised party members not to sign for any other candidates who is not from NRM. She continued to express gratitude over the huge number of people showing interest in picking nomination forms attributing it to the democracy and freedom that Uganda has attained over the years which has seen citizen build confidence in them.

Lumumba also confirmed that collecting signatures starts today for their candidates.
